Abstract
Purpose: This study conducted a systematic review, following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) guidelines, to investigate the design, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation nursing in elderly patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty (THA).

Methods: A comprehensive search across databases including CINAHL, Pubmed, Medline, DBpia, KISS, and Korea Open Med yielded 332 studies, with 13 studies meeting inclusion criteria. Six of the selected studies employed quasi-experimental designs.

Results: Findings highlight the importance of early ambulation post-THA surgery as a means to improve clinical outcomes, reduce complications, and shorten hospital stays. Rehabilitation nursing interventions demonstrated efficacy in relieving swelling and pain, leading to enhanced activities of daily living and improved quality of life for THA patients.

Conclusion: The study's results underscore the positive impact of rehabilitation nursing on outcomes in elderly patients post-THA. To further optimize care, it is recommended to develop targeted rehabilitation nursing approaches that align with the specific needs and preferences of elderly individuals undergoing THA procedures.
